Join us!

We are always excited to collaborate with curious, motivated students who are passionate about the intersection of education, technology, and research. Whether you’re interested in hands-on design, data analysis, or publishing cutting-edge work, there are many ways to get involved:

For HGSE Graduate Students

We offer opportunities for independent study (S999) and internships (T598) for students eager to engage in educational research. You’ll gain experience in designing technology-enhanced learning activities, conducting studies, collecting and analyzing multimodal data, and co-authoring papers for top academic conferences.

For Harvard Undergraduates and Graduate Students

Students across Harvard—whether in Computer Science (CS91r/CS299r), the GSD (S999), or other departments—are welcome to join ongoing projects. These may include developing novel educational interfaces using Augmented Reality (e.g., HoloLens) or Tangible User Interfaces, running empirical studies to evaluate their impact, and analyzing rich datasets using machine learning and data mining techniques.

For Students from Other Universities

We’re open to working with students from nearby institutions such as MIT, Tufts, and others in the Boston/Cambridge area. If our research resonates with you, we encourage you to reach out—we’re always looking for fresh perspectives and interdisciplinary collaboration.
